Land law

Land law is an independent law branch of the Lithuanian private law system, which regulates the relations of land ownership, use and management, defines the rights, duties and responsibilities of parties to these relationships and procedure of land dispute settlement. We provide the following legal assistance:

  • Advise on various legal issues, i.e. on the formation or restructuring of land plots, on the establishment / change of land plot margins, on the establishment / modification of procedure of co-ownership of land plots or on the abandonment of common ownership, on territory planning, on disputes arising during the development of land reform tenure projects, etc.);
  • Prepare a variety of procedural and other documents when land disputes are settled out of court and once disputes are referred to court;
  • Represent in relations with private legal entities or natural persons, with state authorities, institutions and other organizations during pre-trial investigation, as well as in courts of all instances (in disputes arising from cadastral measurements, disputes over the formation of plots required for facility usage, disputes over the formation of land plots or the establishment of land plot margins, disputes arising in the territory planning process, disputes over transaction of land plot transfer, etc.).
