About

Attorney-at-law Diana Kaunienė has been working in the legal field since 1995 and has been practicing law for over 10 years. The attorney prepares procedural documents, represents customer interests in civil and administrative offense cases before the courts of the Republic of Lithuania. The attorney specializes in family law cases, and her practice includes inheritance, property, bankruptcy, corporate, obligations, transport / transportation, employment law, and other areas. The attorney has extensive experience in representing customer interests in contractual and delict disputes in courts, and in cases of violation of fiduciary duties. The attorney represents customers not only in court cases but also in settling disputes between parties in a peaceful, constructive way, and drafts various agreements and treaties. In 2018, the attorney was included in the List of Court Mediators. She actively participates in pro-bono campaigns and other events organized by the Lithuanian Bar Association and Lithuanian courts. She regularly upgrades her professional qualifications in seminars and training sessions. The attorney is able to communicate with customers in Lithuanian and Russian.

  • In 1989, acquired qualification of mechanical engineer in Kaunas University of Technology.
  • 1995 to 1998, court session secretary in the District Court of Klaipėda.
  • 1998 to 2001, civil cases senior inspector in the Klaipėda Regional Court.
  • 2000 to 2004, received Bachelor and Master in Law in Vilnius University.
  • 2001 to 2005, legal adviser at Laivitė, AB.
  • 2005 to 2009, assistant attorney at Martinkus and Partners Law Firm.
  • 2009 to 2017, attorney at Attorney Diana Kaunienė Firm.
  • As of 2017, Associate Partner at LEXGATE Tamošaitis and Partners Law Firm.
  • In 2018, granted with the qualification of mediator by the decision of the National Courts Administration.
